THIS WEEKS inside 50 we find out a little more about one of our clubs favourite sons Lucas Marro.
Lucas started his career in the Under 10’s at Mitcham and would hold the record for most consecutive games played as a junior / senior player.
He had never missed a game for the majority of his career up until his trip to Europe and then the heartbreaking injury in the preliminary final last year. Without his efforts throughout the finals we may have never got the chance to walk away premiers.Thankfully Lucas had already cemented himself a premiership medallion in 2015.
After so many years of service to the club, the most exciting aspect of Lucas’ game is that he improves by the year. We can’t wait too see him back on the park and hopefully he can make up for the missed opportunity in 2019 with another premiership medallion because he is one bloke that definitely deserved one
