Excellent weekend for the Tigers with ALL 5 teams winning, in what most likely is a first for the club. Both netball teams got the chocolates Friday night and the Seniors, Reserves and Unders all recorded solid wins away against The Scoresby Magpies. As we head into the long weekend bye, our netball teams are building nicely and ALL 3 Football Teams sit on six wins two losses. You can check the website @ www.mitchamfc.com lately in the week for the Coaches reports and keep an eye out for Debbie Stingells Photos of ALL 3 Games to be up loaded over the weekend. Our next outing is a top of the table clash Saturday week, 15th June at Home against The Ringwood Redbacks. We also have our president’s lunch in the Mitcham Marquee that day, so please book your tickets on line at https://mitchamfootballclub.teamapp.com/store/items/18919.
Under 19s Coaches Report
We head into the Queens Birthday, mid season break well placed @ 6 and 2to launch into the next half of our season.
Going into this weeks game we knew the the Scoresby form line had been quite impressive over the past few weeks, and that was evident all the way through the first half. Pleasing for us during the first half was the form of both Jarrod Moore and Bill Stingell who have missed the passed couple of weeks through injury. Both players found their feet very quickly and complimented the good work being done by Oscar Messenger and Shannon Santura in the ruck, along with Tom Kerr, Chris O'Connor and Josh Valle. The 3rd quarter display was somewhat reminiscent of our season, with us jumping out to a 6 goal plus lead only to see a lapse in concentration and some poor skill errors allow a determined Scoresby to close within 12 points at the 3/4 time break. The last quarter was somewhat of an arm wrestle with both teams kicking 2 goals, seeing us eventually run out 11 point winners.
We will now take the time to assess our season year to date, and work to identify the areas of our game that can improve so that we can bridge the gap to the top 2 teams.
Best Players: Oscar Messenger, Josh Valle, Tom Kerr, Jarrod Moore, Billy Stingell, Chris O'Connor, Brodie Jarvis.

Reserves Coaches Report
Back at Scoresby again at the grd where they defeated us Rd 1 and the team was determined to get this one back. With some injuries we had 5 changes from the previous week as we used the depth in the list and the lad’s stood up to get the win by 10 goals in a terrific 4 qtr effort. With form behind us over the last few weeks our intent, endeavour and discipline keeps on improving as we dominated the 1st qtr kicking 4 goals to 1, 2nd qtr was much of the same as we kicked away with our forwards getting space as we won the clearances form the middle. The 3rd & 4th we continued to build and booting 4 goals in the last produced a very solid win. Tom Lucas as a mid was our best as he hunted the footy from the stoppage’s, Brocky, Lou Marro booted 8 between them and Wexy again got a couple as well, our on ballers with Tom V in ruck were super all day and our backs run and intercepts was a real highlight with Danger, Dryser, Frosty & DJ all taking the game on. Tough test in 2 weeks against Ringwood who beat us in Rd 2 so we re-set and go once more with momentum. Great for our supporters to see 3 wins, appreciate all that came out.

Senior Coaches Report
This week we travelled out to Scoresby in what was a must win game after dropping our previous 2 encounters. We kicked with the aid of the breeze in the first quarter and started the game well, we wasted a few chances in front of goal scoring 4.6 to 1.3 In the 2nd term our pressure dropped off and Scoresby had the ascendency and if not for them missing some set shots they would’ve been closer as we had a 14 point lead the half time break. We started the 3rd term well, lifting our intensity around the footy, to Scoresby’s credit they responded and got back on top, pleasingly we were up for the fight and wrestled back control in the last 10 minutes and extended the lead to 34 points at ¾ time. In the last quarter our pressure game continued to come to the fore as we ran out victors by 49 points. Zac Carroll was fantastic around the footy all day and Anthony Willenberg was influential in multiple roles across the 4 quarters. We will enjoy the week off this week to freshen up the bodies and we host Ringwood the following week who are the form team of the competition so it will be a good test for us.
