Welcome from the Committee to the Winter Season, we know that you are going to have a great season and we look forward to watching your games.

 

This season we have 249 kids registered to play for our wonderful club and this includes 99 girls playing for Vikings and 150 boys. Our Registrar, Denise has done an amazing job in getting everyone registered and in teams and our head coaches Aaron and Charles have made sure everyone is in a team that suits their skills. Ivan had been great in getting the venues sorted.

 

We have many players in development and in representative basketball.  We are very proud of all of our players both in representative and club level.

 

For our club to be successful we need parent involvement and this may be on the Committee or in a role such as Manager. If we don't have this support then the club will not exist.

 

TREASURER POSITION

We are currently looking for a person to volunteer to join our Committee as Treasurer. Not only will the position will attract a partial refund of your child’s season fees, but you will be a valuable contributor to our Club. Please contact Karen Porter 0419 684 636 if you are interested.

UNIFORMS

The club will be ordering Vikings uniform stock shortly for the Summer Season 2019-20.

If a Player requires a NEW (or second) singlet for the Summer Season and wishes to keep the same number - please advise me by Friday 21June

New Short size- (IF player requires shorts as well)

Uniforms will be available for the Summer Season 2019-20 (commencing October) and payment will be required at time of registration in August.

Cost: Singlet $35   Shorts $35     Full uniform $70

NB. This is NOT an opportunity for players to nominate a new number – this Pre-Order Request is to get a larger singlet or second singlet with the number you currently have for this Winter season.

We have a Facebook Group call Vikings Basketball buy, sell, swap and the link Is on our Viking Basketball Facebook Page. You can list items on here that you want to buy, sell or swap that are related to basketball – such as uniforms, balls, training clothing.

Tuesday 24 September 2019

 

Calwell High School, Auditorium, 111 Casey Crescent, Calwell (front entrance of school)

Doors open at 6.00 p.m. for 6.30pm start

Sausage sandwich and bottle of water will be provided to Players, Coaches and Managers at the end of presentations. Other attendees will be able to buy a sausage or a drink with a gold coin donation.

No cost to players or parents that wish to attend.

Vikings Basketball Club AGM meeting to commence directly after presentations at 7.30pm.

All members are invited!

Your attendance is greatly appreciated to assist with the election of volunteer members for the Vikings Basketball Committee 2019-20.
