AFL Youth Girls Competition 2015

Dear AFL Families,

My name is Sam Zikman (Community Football – AFL NSW/ACT) and on behalf of the Western Sydney GIANTS Juniors I would like to share the fantastic news that we are setting up a YOUTH GIRLS competition in Western Sydney in 2015. The most important aspect in this process is to spread the word amongst our greatest assets.. Which of course are you the families!

Our aim is to give all YOUTH GIRLS in Western Sydney a chance to play football in a ‘Girls only Environment’. Please see attached for our flyer which include a link to register interest in YOUTH GIRLS football and also see below for information on upcoming YOUTH GIRLS holiday program running in your area.

‘Looking for something to do in the September School Holidays? Then why not come along to one of the AFL GWS Youth Girls holiday 'Come and Try' sessions? Interested Youth Girls will participate in a variety of skills, fun activities and modified games designed to teach the fundamentals of skill development for beginners while also challenging those who have a passion for playing AFL.

The Holiday event will run from 11am to 1pm are a FREE EVENT with all attendees receiving a AFL YOUTH GIRLS pack with a warm up top, drink bottle and other give-aways.’

- St. Clair Wednesday October 1st at 11am til 1pm - Cook Park, Cnr Pages Road & Wilson Street, St Marys
- Emu Plains Wednesday October 1st 11am til 1pm - Dukes Oval, Cnr Park Street & Great Western Highway, Emu Plains.
- Ingleburn Wednesday October 1st 11am til 1pm - Memorial Oval, Lancaster Rd. Ingleburn
