CDSFA has worked out a formula tro come up with these tables and there logic is;
Attached is a spreadsheet that shows the table for both the balanced and unbalanced leagues.
There were 41 competitions with equal fixtures played and 30 competitions where not all rounds were completed.
To address the inequality in games played, the Board agreed to a winner percentage formula for games.
o A-team plays 16 and wins 14 would end with a 0.875 record (or 87.5 if you like)
o B-team plays 18 and wins 15 would end up with a 0.833 record (or 83.3)
o Team A would finish higher on the season table.
Our Competition Secretary, Rick Herro, has undertaken the calculations required to determine a result in the unbalanced competitions.
Balanced are in the green tab at the bottom, and Unbalanced are in the red tab.
The third tab is a summary of the teams' designated Premiers in each of the leagues.
The names of the Premiers in each competition will be posted on the CDSFA website on Monday.
