Ramon Harris receives Life Membership

Ramon Harris, affectionately known as Stumpy, has been awarded Life Membership of the Altona Football Club.

Stumpy was recognised for his 40 plus years of service to the club that he holds so dear to his heart. Throoughout the years, Stumpy has held various committee positions including secretary (administrator), treasurer and committee member until in his words, 'father time' caught up with him in 2015.

Brendan Post, President, presented Stumpy with his Life Membership pin infront of 130 players, committee members and supporters at the 2016 Senior Presentation Night on Friday 14 October. 

During his speech, Brendan spoke about his personal memories with Stumpy, the years he has been around the club and the involvement of his family that still continues be it attending training, matches, events and now, back to junior footy with his grandson.
