Successful Weekend in Ballarat

Our Senior squad journeyed to Ballarat last weekend (1 March) for a Practice Match against Central Highlands Football League powerhouse Waubra. Playing their first game for the year the team won against strong opposition. Football Manager, Aaron Freeland, speaking after the game, spoke about how please he was with the young players and the new recruits. He went on to say "We were really please with how the squad has adopted to, new coach, Josh Russo's game plan. It worked a treat".
Following the practice match the squad stayed in Ballarat for a training camp. This proved to be very successful by bringing an already close group, closer together.
