Girls Skills Sessions
We’re going to run the skills sessions for the girls next Tuesday 12th September at The Stadium, Gisborne Secondary College.
Apologies for the delay but it has been a real challenge in availability of players and court space.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to have your name ticked off and a number written on your arm or leg.
Below are the times for each age group for the summer season, showing which age group session your daughter will need to come to based on the year she's born.
2005 & 2006 U14 5-6pm
2003 & 2004 U16 6-7pm
U12 (2007&2008) and U19 (2000-2002) girls do not need to attend any skills sessions.
These skills sessions are designed to help us assess the players to ensure we place them in the right teams and grades for the summer season. We aim to have players of similar ability playing with each other. This helps ensure everyone gets similar opportunity in court time throughout the season. Requests that we have received are all taken into consideration as well.
We’ll have a good chat to the girls before each session to explain how the sessions will work.
