Ferny Grove Falcons have recorded two significant milestones in the evolution of their senior team.

Inspirational captain Josh Furnari and good mate Jordan Ma registered their 50-game milestones within a week of each other.

With the seniors in their fourth year of existence, Josh made history by becoming the first player to get to his half-century against Yeronga at Falcon Park on June 22, while Jordan achieved the feat at Coorparoo a week later.

Josh made his debut in Round 2 of 2015, while Jordan followed suit in Round 5. Co-incidentally, both were in their team’s best player list on debut.

Josh has gone on to be a two-time League best and fairest winner, two-time club leading goalkicker, and three-time top two placegetter in club champion voting. He has captained the Falcons for the past three seasons.

Jordan has played 50 of a possible 55 games since making his debut, including a club record streak of 27 in a row which is still going.

He is enjoying his best season yet, providing great run and attack in dual roles from the back pocket and wing.
