Grant for New Footies

A big thanks to Cr Andrew Wines who stepped up to help the Tigers with new equipment this year as part of the Brisbane City Council’s assistance for Community Clubs.

Coach Josh Duffy was over the moon to receive 10 new yellow Sherrins with the $1,000 grant.

The State Government has also come to the party with a $2,000 grant to assist community groups with getting through the financial problems created by COVID 19. The Tigers will be using those funds to assist with the usual costs of utilities, maintenance and other expenses which roll on as usual while the Everton Wolves will receive a $5,000 rebate for water charges which will assist the Tigers and the Ashgrove Cricket Club. The average annual water charge exceeds $15,000.
