New Lights on the way for the Den

Council has granted $110,000 under the Building Stronger Communities Grant Program to support the installation of new lights at the Enoggera Memorial Park sporting fields.

Mayne Tigers President Russell Ditchburn extended a big thank you to Cr Andrew Wines for his tremendous support in achieving this important Brisbane City Council Grant. Ditchburn advised that replacing 40 year old poles and equipment at the Den will save considerable effort and funds expended every year and provide safer and more efficient lighting for training and games.

Cr Wines advised that this project will benefit the three growing northside sporting clubs including the Mayne Australian Football Club, Everton Wolves Junior Australian Football Club and Ashgrove Cricket Club who all share the two ovals at the Enoggera Memorial Reserve.
