Lions greats and mates entertain Tigers Sportsmen’s Lunch

Old mates, Lions Triple Premiership players, Clark Keating and Simon Black held the punters speechless yesterday at the Mayne Tigers Sportsmen's Lunch held at the Newstead Brewery as they teamed up with Tigers Maestro, former Lions administrator and aficionado Shane Johnson. The trio took the crowd through a wide range of intimate and fondly remembered moments from their footy days, from drafts to premierships, injuries and larrikins and much more.

The club raised valuable funds through the sale of some great auction items and raffles with the Tigers auctioneer Brent McArdle doing a sterling job on debut. The venue, food and beverage was superb and it is likely that this will be an annual event.
