Coogee Diggers is Saints new home base

The Randwick City Saints AFL club are pleased to announce that the Coogee Diggers has come on board as a major sponsor for 2015. The Diggers joins long standing supporters, Oriel Building Services and Pacnet Global Logistics as Platinum sponsors for this season.
The Coogee Diggers is one of South-East Sydney's premier community clubs with the Diggers having undergone extensive redevelopment over the last couple of years and now providing some fantastic facilities including 3 bars, Restaurant and Fitness Centre including pool.
Coogee Diggers General Manager, Phil Vannan said "We saw the partnership with the Randwick City Saints as a great opportunity for both clubs. The Saints have expanded to three mens sides and an under 18 team in 2012 and have now added a women’s side, the Angels. This sort of growth said to us the Saints are going places and with a number of the players already members of the Diggers, we saw it as natural opportunity for the Diggers to support as part of our ongoing committment to the local community."
Matthew Lawrance, President of the Randwick City Saints also commented "We are very pleased and thankful for the support of the Coogee Diggers for 2013. The facilities at the Diggers are fantastic and the opportunities to utilise the resources there for our club functions as well as the first class fitness Centre, has been well received by our players and supporters. As a community based Aussie Rules football club we believe we have a like minded partner in the Coogee Diggers as a sponsor and look forward to celebrating our wins at the Diggers in 2013."
The Randwick City Saints compete in the Sydney AFL competition with teams in mens' divisions 3 , 5 , under 18and a Masters team (over 35s). Our new Women’s team the Angels will be competing in the Sydney AFL Womens Division 2 competition. New players are very welcome for all teams.
The Saints train and play at Pioneers Park Malabar with pre season having commenced with sessions from 6.30pm each Tuesdays and Thursdays. The season proper commences in April following Easter. For more details see our website
