U/18s
Pearcedale may have improved from last year but they were still no match for Frankston. The U/18s started slowly, but they worked their way into the game, coming away with an 11 point quarter time lead. They extended the lead during the second quarter, however the margin could have been a whole lot bigger had they been able to kick straight (8.12 to 4.4).
There was some improvement in the second half as Frankston kicked at least kicked as many goals as behinds. They continued to work hard all over the ground and ended up walking away with a 55 point win. Daniel Bence kicked another 6 to go with his half a dozen against Hastings, this takes his season tally to 13.
J.Page, A.Pasquill, J.Kingsbury, R.Wishart, D.Bence and B.Sutton were all named in the best for Frankston, also congratulations to Page and Sutton who have both been selected in the under 18s interleague squad.

Reserves
Despite the ladder positions of both sides, matches against Pearcedale are never going to be easy and it was important for Frankston to come out firing. While they didn't blow Pearcedale away in the first quarter, they were able to keep them to only 1 behind while kicking 5 of their own.
Frankston kicked another 5 in the second and went into the long break with a 52 point lead. Even with the lead, there was enough room for improvement in the second half that they probably should have won by 20 goals. Unfortunately, like the U/18s, goal kicking was a slight problem for the Reserves.
The Reserves dominated the game in the 3rd term, the zone that the two's had in place was fantastic, as they locked the ball inside their forward line for at least 85% of the quarter. Unfortunately the side was very inaccurate as they kicked 4.10 to 1 straight. Instead of leading by 100 points at 3 quarter time they were only in front by 80, and like last year, the final ladder positions could come down to percentage.
The trend continued in the last as Frankston kicked 2.5. The final margin was 91 points. Ryan Lia kicked 7, while Ben Tournier, Luke Lewis and Mick Maiorino all chipped in for 2. The best for Frankston include, H.McLenaghan, T.Reints, R.Lia, B.Tournier, M.Webber, T.Burke.

Seniors
The Seniors were jumped by Pearcedale early in the game as they quickly fell 3 goals behind at quarter time. The momentum changed in favour of Frankston throughout the second quarter. They kicked 6 goals to zero in the second and went into the half time break 20 points up.
After all their hard work to get back into the game in the second, it all went to waste in the 3rd as they let their lead slip. Throughout the second half it was goal for goal until Frankston were finally able to shake Pearcedale and finish the game as 20 point winners.
Matt Longley was best on, kicking 8 goals. Nathan Lonie kicked 3 and Brad Harvey 2 were the only other multiply goal kickers. Waxiel was great at full back, other who impressed were, M.Harrison, N.Martin, D.Elliott and H.Moore.
