With the Hunter's premier AFL facility, Newcastle No.1 sports ground in cotton wool until after Easter the Blues will be training at various locations in the build up to the coming season. Five from the last six for Firsts is a fantastic achievement reminiscent of the halcyon days of the 60s and 70s. A class act. Firsts & Ressies had unexpected defeats last Sunday but the highlight of the weekend was the Thirds climbing to the top of their table with a big win. Well done to the coaches (Irish & Willy) and players on a great result. How things have changed from 2012 for the Thirds "experiment".
