Newcastle City Blues AFC invite all interested players to attend pre season training for the up-coming 2018 season commencing on Tuesday 16th January. With the Hunter's premier AFL facility, Newcastle No.1 sports ground in cotton wool until after Easter the Blues will be training at various locations in the build up to the coming season. Waratah Park, Young Street, Waratah will host most sessions.more

Mitch Knight and Tim Cotter will be leading the Premier Division squad in 2017, Darren Gilmour Black Diamond Plate (First Division) Coach, John Parker and Nathan Grabham will co-coach the 2nd Division side. Nathan Wilmott will lead the Blue Stars Womens side with Chaz Wornes coaching the Newcastle Novas.more

Five from the last six for Firsts is a fantastic achievement reminiscent of the halcyon days of the 60s and 70s. A class act. Firsts & Ressies had unexpected defeats last Sunday but the highlight of the weekend was the Thirds climbing to the top of their table with a big win. Well done to the coaches (Irish & Willy) and players on a great result. How things have changed from 2012 for the Thirds "experiment".
