The U17’s were in the game all day until the last quarter. The 2 sides were evenly matched, but Locky took advantage of a few turnovers in the last quarter and this was the difference. If the boys can improve their intensity at the ball, they will turn it around this week. Best Players: L. Zimmer, T. Colston, M. Tresize, B. Johnson, C. Burge, R. Hocking
The 2’s continued their good form, and the chance to get some pride back over the team who denied them the premiership last year. It was a high class game, and the boys really battled it out. They could have sealed it early in the last quarter, except for some missed shots, but finished it off with a couple of quick goals. Mako was extremely happy with the performance, seeing as the team was struggling for numbers, but just goes to show, if you get 22 players having a go, anything can happen. Best Players: Cam, B.T, Joey, Brent, Ricey, & Muncher
The Seniors knew they would have to play even better than they did against Heathcote to knock of Locky at their home ground. While the 1st quarter wasn’t too bad a start, they got blown away in the 2nd quarter and never got close for the rest of the day. As Jugger said after the game, the boys have to learn from these loses, stick together and be confident they can reach the level required to compete against the best sides in the comp. Best Players: Jack, Matty, Grunter, Jus, Ethan & Brock
