Club Makes State League Application
KYNETON MEN MAKE STATE 5 APPLICATION
With the NPL starting this season, the club has moved forward its plan to enter Saturday State Competitions.
On the 17th of February the club formally advised FFV its intention to request late entry into the State League.
State League is played on Saturdays with both the Seniors and Reserves playing home and away together. Most kickoffs are fixed at 1.00pm and 3.00pm
The club is now calling anyone interested in joining the challenge to come along and get involved. Contact the Coach (Nick Monsbourgh), President (Ron Cole) or Secretary/Team Manager (Lance O'Donnell) for all the details.
Confirmation of our entry will be known on Thursday 20th of February with the draw available on 25/2 and the season would know start in the last weekend in March (4 weeks ahead of the metropolitan competition).
With the entry pre-season training is now ramping up considerably with full training on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Pre-Season fixtures have been arranged and the club has also entered the State Knockout Cup, going straight to round 2 with our round one opponents forfeiting.
This is a exciting time for the club and we want and need everyone who is prepared to take up the challenge. Current, Former and New Players are all welcome
