Nunawading Kangas Basketball Club is a community based junior club established over 30 years ago. Our players are drawn from Nunawading and the surrounding suburbs. Our aim is to provide an environment for our players to enjoy sport whilst improving their skills, learning about teamwork and respect for other players, coaches and referees. Older players have the opportunity to develop leadership skills through coaching younger teams.
We are part of the Melbourne East Basketball Association and have over 500 players (over 60 teams) playing in the Junior Domestic Competitions.

COACHES We're looking for players, parents and anyone else interested in coaching for our Club. We have teams playing on week night evenings and Saturdays. A Working With Children Check, Basketball Victoria - Member Protection Declaration and completion of a short online Child Protection Course will be required. More details on this are available on the "Information for Coaches" page of this website. AGE GROUP CO-ORDINATORS We're seeking coaches or parents from each age group to be involved in maintaining contact with players and their families, particularly in preparation for new season team selection process. We'd love to hear from anyone interested in joining a Fundraising Subcommittee or being involved in fundraising for our Club.
