What a bunch of bogans!

We had close to 100 bogans rock up (and rock out!). Auskick Wind-Up Fun!
What a fantastic time we had on Saturday 26th of August at our Auskick Wind Up! Between the bouncy castles and activities, mini games (including tug o' war!) and the free raffles, it was a blast - and everyone enjoyed a sausage sizzle to finish the morning.

On the 12th May, during the half time break of the West Coast Eagles and Western Bulldogs game at Domain Stadium, our Year 6 Broncos played in the Little League game! They took the field in front of over thirty-eight thousand spectators and did Chittering proud.

On Sunday 14th May, we went crazy with the pink to spread breast cancer awareness and celebrate Mother's Day! With our pink decorations, even down to the pink lines marked on the oval, free coffee, cake & raffles for the mums, we had a fantastically pink day.

Thanks to everyone who came down to the Twilight Multi Sports event at Pickett Park on Friday 20th Jan. We don't know who had more fun - the kids playing or the big kids running it! Thanks Kev, Tim and Will for running some great skills drills; the committee for the set up and pack up; and the many parents who lent a hand throughout the event.

Broncos Year 6 joined with Upper Swan Yr 6s to form a team to compete in the Round Robin competition. With fantastic team work, the combined team went on to win the Grand Final!

For 6 Saturdays beginning May 14th, we held our All Abilities clinic for 2016. It was fantastic to see the kids having a great time participating in the skills & activities. Thanks to Perry Read and family for your help in running the clinic!

Family Fun Day
Thank You to all the committee members, parents and volunteers who helped put the Family Fun Day together. The Auskick kids appeared to have a great time, as did the adults that got involved in tug-o-war and the bouncy castles! The weather could not have been more perfect for the occasion. Muchea Youth Festival
The Broncos joined in with the Muchea Youth Festival on 19th March this year.
Despite the terrible weather, our small but dedicated team created the football section of the obstacle course & then guided the participants through the challenge. Here's Sue Budd and the Scout team doing their best to maneuver through the tyre obstacle. The giggling didn't help!

Alan Nairn takes out the Progress Development District Achievement Award". At the recent Swans District Gala evening Alan Nairn was recognised for his work in the community with the Special Needs Auskick Centre which has been running for the past two years .

Auskick Windup
Muchea was crowded with budding young Auskickers on Saturday. The weather was beautiful as everyone farewelled Auskick for another season After the traditional grid games, trophies were awarded to the children and coaches and volunteers acknowledged. Then everyone celebrated the successful season with a sausage sizzle, drink and ice cream.

Recently District Manager Isaac Stewart attended Chittering JFC to speak with members of the Year 9 Youth team and deliver a mental health presentation.

Auskickers Shine at Patterson's Stadium
56 very lucky auskickers from Chittering got a once in a lifetime opportunity to take centre stage at Patterson's Stadium. On Sat 14th June they ran out at half time of the AFL match between West Coast Eagles and the Gold Coast Suns and played in front of a 31,000+ crowd. What a day to remember, Nic Naitanui's 100th, Capt Darren Glass farwelled & Brownlow Medalist Gary Ablett in action. Awesome!

Chittering JFC recently played host to Swan Districts WAFL players Malcolm, Charlie, Jasper & Herman. Many thanks to the boys for taking the time to visit our club and assist club coaches with training drills and skills.
