The Armadale Cup Carnival once more made its presence felt on the local soccer community with around 500 junior players from all over Perth playing in a series of lightning carnivals at Morgan Park.

Armadale Soccer Club celebrated its 40th Anniversary in style this weekend with 2 days of games, fun, food and drink, and sharing stories and photos with old friends down at Alfred Skeet.
Our under 14s team, coached by Gary McNamara and Andy Shields, won the Metro Division 3 Cup Final 2-0 against Vic Park Rovers at Alfred Skeet on Sunday 7 October 2012.

The tradition of our junior teams walking out on to the pitch with our First Team Premier League players on a Saturday at Alfred Skeet Reserve is alive and kicking. Some photos here from early in the 2012 season.
Stirling Lions defeated Armadale 2-0 at Alfred Skeet Oval. “It was paramount we did something after the loss in the Cup last week,” said Stirling captain Brown. “We’ve worked hard on the track and come out with a game plan and really we should have won by more. Armadale battled all day and it’s never an easy place to come to and get three points, we’re happy to get the win.”
Armadale collected their second win in eight days with a convincing 3-0 win over Bunbury Forum Force at Payne Park. A tight game was decided after the break when Joey Tavernese, Tom Biss and Ravi Kuppusamy netted in the space of a dozen minutes to have the home team reeling. Armadale buses and coaches descended on the south west to take over the ground and bar and all went home happy.

Armadale ended their championship winning season by registering the year's biggest winning margin, the Reds thrashing Stirling Suns 14-0 at Alfred Skeet Oval.
Armadale clinched the First Division title by coming from behind to record a 3-2 victory over South West Phoenix at Bunbury's Soccerdrome. "This whole team has been great all season, and to only lose one game is a fantastic achievement," said Reds coach Billy Russell after the game. The celebrations continued for Armadale this weekend when they were presented with the First Division trophy at their final game of 2004 against Stirling Suns at Alfred Skeet Oval.
