THE battle lines have been drawn as the SP Super Series get underway at the Amini Park in Port Moresby on Sunday.
This week summed up yet another memorable occasion in the history of Papua New Guinea Cricket when the four team sponsors launched their respective teams in the capital city ahead of their first Twnety-20 match which promises to the highlight of the 12 week competition.
On Wednesday April 02 the Trukai Invincible and Steamshipshardware took the pleasure of launching their respective teams while Brian Bell and Telikom Titans launched their teams yesterday.
Coaches from the four SP Super Series teams have indicated that the first Twenty-20 match will very new to most of their players but with the few international stars included in their side it should boost the morale of the individuals players to give their best for their team.
Telikom Titans coach Eddie Tamarua during his team’s launching at the Telikom Rumana said the honors was on his experience players to take responsibility and lead the young guys out on Sunday.
