PMA scores 1st win ISL Senior Varsity bball

Palau Mission Academy (PMA) Warriors secured their first win at the expense of Palau High School team B, 76-55 in the start of the 2014 Inter-School League (ISL) Senior Varsity basketball league played at the Palau High School gym.

After taking a 14-13 lead, PMA would then see themselves lodging behind at the end of the first half via 31-33. They would then anchor a 16-4 run to grab back the lead and establish a 47-37 lead.

From there, they would take the win an sport a 1-0 win-loss tally in the team standings behind the 24 point performance of RB Doarado whole Moses Tellames clipped 18 for PHS team B on the losing end.

Games would resume today with PHS team B versus EHS at 4 p.m. at the PHS gym while BMS will face PHS team A also at 4 p.m. at the Palau National gym.

Monday games will feature BMS against PHS team B at the Palau National gym while PHS team A will take on PMA at the PHS gym at 4 p.m.

A total of five teams will vie for top honors and it include Palau High School teams A and B, Emmaus High School and Palau Mission Academy.
