GBH takes solo lead in EASC Central School boys bball

Team George B. Harris Elementary School takes solo lead in the team standings after beating Seventh Day Adventist Elementary School, 62-53 Thursday in the ongoing 2013 Elementary After School Competition (EASC) Central School boys basketball tournament.

Trailing 25-35 at the half, GBH managed to regain control of the game in the third canto as they showed their defensive prowess to take the win and remain unbeaten. Zymon Asido led the scoring chores for GBH with 15 points as teammates Tristan Kintaro and Wallace Worswick chipped in 14 and 13 baskets, in that order.

With the win GBH now sports a clean 4-0 win-loss record while the SDA Kings suffered their first loss for a 3-1 win-loss card despite Carson Sumor finishing with 14 markers.

Games will resume today with MSS versus SDA at the Palau National gym while KES will face GBH tomorrow at the Palau National gym. Thursday after noon will have KES against SDA at the SDA gym. Games will start at 3:30 p.m.

Competing schools include Seventh Day Adventist Elementary School; Koror Elementary School; Maris Stella School; George B. Harris Elementary School and Meyuns Elementary School.
