Team Money downs Islanders in WNBL

Team Money meant business as they thrashed out the Islanders, 81-28, Thursday night in the ongoing 2012 IP&E Women’s National Basketball League played at the Palau National gym.

After taking an 18-7 lead in the opening quarter, team Money spurted a 22-8 run in the second to establish their biggest lead 40-15 at the end of the first half. From there, team Money held on to their lead as they scored the win.

Tara Tamakong paced team Money with 17 markers while Remeldil topscored for the Islanders with 9 markers on the losing side.

Games will resume tonight with Peched Reds versus Kyrptonite at 7:30 p.m. as Money will face Smooth Riders tomorrow night at 6 p.m. while Islanders will take on Kryptonite Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
