CLOSE GAMES IN KSHL 12 YEARS LEAGUE
Tuesday’s game saw South Coast just ahead over Ngerchemai B at the long break by 1 point and then again by just 1 point at three quarter time. Ngerchemai had a big last quarter to outscore the Echung village boys to win this round. For Ngerchemai Raven Wasisang with 20 points and Erchar Kikuo with 13 led the scoring while for South Coast it was Peace Sumor with a game high 24 points that contributed most.
On Wednesday the undermanned Ididers A team met up with Ngerchemai A in a one sided game that saw the Ngerchemai team win comfortably by 50-11. For Ngerchemai Wallacew Worswick had another high scoring game with 20 points while for Ididers the main contributions came from Clyde Etpison and Alex Rudimch with 3 each.
Ididers B stared well on Thursday against Peched Red but only led at the half time break by 1 point. The third quarter belonged to Peched as the ran up 8 points to just 2 by the Idid team but then Ididers got a spurt on in the final quarter to win that term by 14 points to 5 and the game by 26-22. For the winners it was Anthony Palacios with 15 points and Wilan Kyota-Franz with 5 while Trinity Misech with 6 and Spis Senior, Shector Hector and Tyrell Rehuher all with 4 points each were the main contribtors for the Peched team.
In the last game of the week it was a big last quarter by Meda Kids that got them the win against Meyuns in a tightly fought game. For Meda Ngirchurung Santos had a game high 22 points and was assisted in the main by Santini Masaichi with 12 and Eluut Isaac with 11. Meyuns main scorers were Troy Iyar with 17 and Vince Stark with 12.
