Merchandise
Merchandise will be available for sale next Friday 20 March from 6-8pm from the container at Walker Park. We have finally had confirmation of stock being delivered thus most items should be available. Head down to see our awesome Merchandise Coordinator, Michelle, who will be able to assist you.

Mouthguards:
You can still book in with local Dental Prothesist, Mal Parkinson, for a custom made mouthguard. His clinic is in Maria Avenue, Nunawading. Just call 9874 1041 to make an appointment. Remember that all players MUST have a mouthguard at training and games (including practice matches).

Coaches:
We are still seeking the services of a caring parent, friend or guardian with a passion for footy! That's right, our second U9 side still requires the services of a dedicated coach. If this is you, please contact Footy Operations Manager, Leigh Walters (footyops.mitchamjfc@gmail.com

Team Support:
Each team in the league, both in competitive and non-competitive age groups, requires a group of volunteers to ensure that players get on the field each week. The bare minimum includes:
Coach & Assistant Coach
Team Manager
Trainer
Runner/s
If you are interested in taking on one of these roles, please contact your coach as soon as possible. This helps to ensure that we have accreditation taken care of and arent scrambling to find assistance at the start of the season. There is great support & training for these positions and if you want to find out more, just have a chat to your coach or a member of the Committee of Management.
In addition to the main roles, each team also requires weekly assistance with Umpire Escorts, Goal Umpires and Timekeepers. More often than not, your Team Manager will assign these roles on a weekly basis however if you are interested in taking on one of them in a permanent capacity, please speak with your Coach or Team Manager.

***Please note that in keeping with the guidelines above, the MJFC will NOT provide communal drink bottles at training sessions or practice matches. Please ensure your child has their own labelled drink bottle for upcoming training sessions and practice matches.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
