You guessed it! Footy's back and we have loads of information for you! But first, a message from the President....

Welcome to the 2020 Season for all of our players, coaches and support staff, families, supporters and sponsors. A particularly warm welcome to those who are new to the Club. Mitcham is a great place to be!

After a 2019 of portable change rooms, toilets and a marquee (even though the marquee was still better than some rooms at other clubs), we look forward to the new rooms being finished in plenty of time for the start of the Home & Away Season on April 19th. 

We are planning Family Day on Saturday April 4th, which will also be our Junior Jumper Presentation Day and our Senior Club's first home game, where they will unfurl the 2019 Premiership Flag. To entice you to come along to more senior games in Season 2020, with every child registration, you will receive one x Adult entry to all Mitcham FC Home Games. A great way to further enhance our 'Little Tiger, Big Tiger' Junior/Senior relationship.

To complete our Committee, we have an urgent need for a Grants Officer (to chase up the abundance of monies available to community groups); a Trainers Coordinator (to act as a liaison between the MJFC Trainers and the EFNL to ensure all Trainers are up to speed with their roles), and a Welfare Officer (to Coordinate our new Welfare Programs - watch this space). secretary.mitchamjfc@gmail.com), if you feel you may be suited to one of these roles (or if you just want some further information) and would like join our Committee. Meetings take place at Walker Park every six weeks or so and gives you the opportunity to have a voice within our great club.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank outgoing committee members, Peter Ajani, Mark Butler, Charlotte Caldarelli and Jeff Kane for their contribution to the Committee and the Club over several seasons.

It was great to see our U12 Boys, U13 Boys, U14 Boys and U15 Boys hit the ground running with a training session on Sunday, with the U17 Boys training on Monday night. We look forward to the rest of our teams starting their pre-season training campaign this Sunday February 9th, including the Under 10, 12, 14, 16, and 18 Girls, as well as the Under 8, 9, 10, and 11 Boys. Please remember, NO FOOTBALL BOOTS are permitted at Mullauna College during the pre-season. 

Lastly from me, good luck and have fun during the pre-season. The focus from our coaches is to help each player improve individually - keep it fun and enjoy being with their mates at the Mitcham Junior Football Club.
