Get in the Game Get Started $150/Child Opens 15 July 2013
Get Started is a Qld Government program to assist children and young people who can least afford to join a sport or recreation club. Eligible children and young people can apply for a voucher valued up to $150 to help pay the cost of sport or recreation membership and/or participation fees. There is a limit of one voucher per child/young person per calendar year. Vouchers must be applied for online by parents/guardians. To be eligible children must be aged from five to under the age of 18 who hold or whose parent, carer or guardian holds a Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card and who are residents of Queensland. Children may also be eligible (even if they do not have Centrelink cards) if they are identified by 2 referral agents. All details are on the NPRSR website.
