2020 VICTORIAN COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS
OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
The Country Leagues Football Association wishes to formally advise the football community that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Country Championships has been officially cancelled.
However, following further discussions with Geelong Region over recent days, the CLFA Board are pleased to announce that the 2021 Country Championships will be hosted by the Geelong Region.
The CLFA recognises the effects of COVID-19 has had an enormous impact on families across the entire State. Whilst the decision to cancel the 2020 Country Championships is disappointing, we hope the decision to bring the country Championships back to Geelong in 2021 provides each region and their local communities with certainty.
