NOTICE: Expressions of interest sought for ‘C Licence’ coaching course in Geelong

GEELONG Region Football Committee is pleased to call for a registrar of interest for local coaches who would like to complete their C Licence at either Youth or Senior Level at a special course in Geelong in 2016.

If enough applicants register for the course, it will be the first time in history that the ‘C Licence’ course will be held in regional Victoria.

At this early stage, we are seeking any interested coaches to submit their expression of interest to complete either a ‘C Senior’ licence or ‘C Youth’ licence and what their general availabilities are with regards to committing to a course, i.e. pre-season or post-season 2016.

Please note: January and February 2016 are booked out and unavailable to bring the course to Geelong.

The actual course will run at a yet to be determined venue, for a total of seven days and will be run over three consecutive weekends – Week 1 will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday; Weeks 2 and 3 will be Saturday and Sunday only.

According to an official press statement by the Geelong Region Football Committee, it is imperative that genuine candidates come forward to register their interest as soon as possible.

“It’s vital we act quickly. We need to know exactly who is genuinely keen to do either a C Youth or C Senior course and when, so as we can secure this opportunity,” said the media statement issued earlier today.

To register your interest, email the FFV’s Zone Development Officer for the Wimmera/South Coast region, Foddy Kyprian at fkyprian@ffv.org.au with the following information:

1-     -  Name and Club

2-      - Type of course (Senior or Youth)

3-       - Pre-season (March) or Post-Season (September)
