Southern Fleurieu Sport and Recreation Precinct Feasibility Study & Project
The City of Victor Harbor have been meeting the timelines set out in the original proposal and we are at the Feasibility Study & Preliminary Design Stage.
This stage was tendered out. Tredwell Management won the tender. Tredwell Management have a very sound knowledge of the project objectives as they were the previous consultants and drafted the original Master Plan at the now defunct Encounter Bay Sports Precinct Project which was drafted to be located at the Encounter Bay Oval Site. The proposal became defunct due to a lack of support from the users of that area and the Encounter Bay Sports Precinct Committee was officially closed down and wound up.
Neil Tredwell is holding initial meetings with representatives from each of the potential user groups. The GSABA met with Neil on 22.01.2020. It was mainly an information gathering exercise. The GSABA had already submitted concept plans to the City of Victor Harbor and Tredwell Management and discussions of the plan occurred. Grieve Gillett Architects have been appointed to review the design and recommend any changes once other user groups needs are fully understood. Further discussions will occur with the GSABA.
The GSABA would like to thank Matt Parker and Stephen Scarvelis who worked diligently on the concept plans and submitted a professional drafted concept plan.
