Gliders and LeGassick Goannas Hit the Road

The Clippers simply handed the Goannas a lesson two weeks ago which resulted in the first home loss for the season.  A disappointed head coach Mick Conlon has been putting the boys through some tough training sessions with this game in mind.

"Of course, I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't thinking about this game even last week," he said when asked about this Saturday night's clash in Maroochydore.

"They waltzed into our house, gave us a beat down and that was embarrassing to us," he concluded.

The Gliders however have kept their narrow playoff hope alive with a heart stopping win and will be looking to maintain this in the re-match.

“We have been up and down all season, but that win a couple of weeks ago could have been a turning point in our season,” head coach Chris Riches said.

The Gold Coast Gliders and LeGassick Goannas will return to the Coast but at Tallebudgera Stadium the following Saturday night 10 July with TSS unavailable, before three weeks of road games against Gladstone, Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Mackay and Toowoomba.
