2nd Annual Season Launch/Funny Money Night

The Carrara Stadium on Nerang – Broadbeach road, will be the place to be on Saturday 23 April 2011 for the 2nd Annual Season Launch/Funny Money Night to launch the QBL and D-League teams from the South East Corner of Queensland.

All representative players and coaching staff from the Rollers, and D-League Seahawks and Waves will unite again for this event, showing full support for one another, while continuing a healthy on court rivalry within our region.

Come and enjoy the night with all Gold Coast Blaze players as the young players of the future and coaching staff are introduced to the members of the public, families, supporters and sponsors.  Plus the launch will double up as a “funny money” night whereby upon entry, you will receive $1,000,000 in funny (fake) money to gamble away during the night on blackjack, roulette, crown and anchor, 2up and some horse races.

Then bid alone or form a syndicate to win the items up from auction at the end of the night which include Gold Coast Blaze tickets, massage and facials, dining vouchers, Gold Coast Suns merchandise and the major prize of an accommodation voucher at the Surfers Paradise Resort Marriott hotel!

There will be complimentary finger food and a very cheap cash bar.

So invite your friends, family and work mates to a fun night out and support your local basketball teams before the real hard work starts with the commencement of the season on the weekend of the 7th of May 2011.
