BNT High Performance Athletes On The Move!

Seven 2019/20 BNT High Performance athletes have headed interstate to further their education and basketball development over the Christmas/New Year break and they are already achieving great results in their environments!!

Girls

Sophie Palmer – Hawthorn Magic, Melbourne, Victoria

Laleeta Das – Melbourne Tigers, Melbourne, Victoria

Emma Keightley – Sturt Sabres, Adelaide, South Australia

Tiana Taurima – Gold Coast, Queensland

 

Boys

Daniel Yak – Werribee Devils, Melbourne, Victoria

Wiremu Taurima – Gold Coast, Queensland

Jerick Duggan – Brisbane, Queensland

 

Last weekend Sophie Palmer and Laleeta Das played in the well-respected Eltham/Dandenong Tournament. Sophie’s team (U18 Hawthorn Div 2 Girls) won the tournament with Sophie winning the Most Valuable Player award. Laleeta’s team (Melbourne Tigers Div 2 Girls) made the semi-finals also. Both players have made a solid impact in their teams in their first week. Congratulations Girls!!!! We will continue to watch your progress!!
