2020 HEAD COACH POSITIONS – NT UNDER 18 AND UNDER 16 REPRESENTATIVE TEAMS
Basketball Northern Territory are seeking suitably qualified Coaches to fill the positions of Head Coach for the Under 18 Boys, Under 18 Girls, Under 16 Boys and Under 16 Girls teams for the 2020 Australian Junior Championships.
The timing and location of the respective Australian Junior Championships are as follows:
- Under 18 Boys and Girls (for athletes born in 2003 and 2004), Ballarat, Victoria 17 - 24 April, 2020
- Under 16 Boys and Girls (for athletes born in 2005 and 2006), Perth, Western Australia 5 - 12 July, 2020
Ideally applicants would hold a current Association (formerly Level 2) coaching accreditation or be in the process of attaining this accreditation. As a minimum the successful Coach will hold a current Club Coaching accreditation (formerly level 1).
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years coaching experience, with some of that time spent coaching a senior team at League level, and have coached in a Northern Territory affiliate competition or it’s interstate equivalent in the last 12 months.
