Youth in Touch - A Program engaging Youth

Youth in Touch is a partnership between Touch Football Victoria and VicHealth. It aims to increase participant’s physical activity and improve health and wellbeing through an engaging touch football project. Young people 12-17 years across the state will take part in a localised touch football program, designed for young people by young people.

The Youth in Touch program can be catered to the needs of the local community, and can be delivered almost anywhere. With one-off sessions, up to five-week programs and ongoing coaching sessions  available as part of the program, students and participants skills can be developed over the long and short term.

The Youth in Touch program is delivered by several young Touch Football players, many of whom have state, or national representative honours behind them.

Melbourne Storm player Ryan Papenhauzen is the Youth in Touch Ambassador, check out what he has to say about the program!

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
