Troy Ando Anderson commemorative 2 stroke fest 13th September

At the request of Troy “Ando” Anderson’s friends and riding mates, Classic MX WA is hosting an event on behalf of the Perth 2 Stroke Riders group at their Hillman Park MX track on Sunday 13th of September 2020 to remember Ando who recently passed away, proceeds from the day (after permitting and licensing costs) will go to his familymore

Event cancellations due to Covid 19

Due to the announcement by the Australian government last night, all MWA/MA permitted activity in Western Australia is cancelled effective as of 10.00 am Thursday 26th March.more

Regular Darkan MX event with vets on moderns and juniors, come along for a great day's riding and a free sausage sizzle on Saturday night.more

Bridgetown Scramble Cancelled

Due to matters outside of our control the Bridgetown Scramble (scheduled for Sunday 29th September) will not go ahead in 2019.more

Darkan Hare Scramble 23rd June 2019

Classic MXWA will be running the second Darkan Hare Scramble event at their Darkan facility on the 23rd of June 2019 sponsored by Mandurah Mobile V Twin (contact Ando 0427 145 000). The course will utilise parts of the motocross track but will be more natural terrain, taking in the surrounding area.more

Pony Express Cancellation June 23rd

Due to matters outside of our control we are not able to run the Pony Express at Toodyay this year as planned on June the 23rd. We are working on an alternate event on the same date.more

Come Try 26th May 2019

Classic MX WA will be holding a Come Try event on the 26th May 2019 at their Darkan Track.more

Classic MXWA invites VMX WA to Darkan 5th May 2019

After some track improvements we are ready to start another exciting season of Classic MXWA racing. Sunday the 5th of May should get us off to a great start with the Classic MXWA and VMX WA Invitational.more

Peter Melton Memorial Classic at Fern Hill Farm Manjimup 28th October

Classic MX WA presents the Peter Melton Memorial Classic at Fern Hill Farm Manjimup 28th October 2018.

Peter Melton was well known in the motocross community having won four Australian Supercross titles, three National Motocross titles and 17 Queensland Motocross and Supercross titles. Peter passed away in 2017 doing what he loved at Willow Bank Raceway.more

Last Darkan Event of the Year Sunday 7th October 2018

Classic MXWA will be holding an event at Hillman Park, Darkan on Sunday 7th October 2018. This will be a non-competitive event and there will be the usual classes of Pre '78, Pre '85, Pre '90 and Pre '98 along with juniors and veterans on modern bikes (classes subject to change depending on numbers of participants).more

Darkan Hare Scramble September 9th 2018

Classic MXWA will be hosting the Inaugural Darkan Hare Scramble at their Darkan track on Sunday the 9th September 2018. Celebrating the Iron Men of Motocross's golden years of the 70s, 80s, & 90s. The track will take in parts of the motocross track but will be more natural terrain taking in parts of the surrounding area.more

August 12th 2018 Event Cancelled

The Classic MXWA committee regret to advise the event scheduled for this weekend - Sunday 12th August - has been cancelled due to the condition of the track. Recent heavy rains have resulted in the track becoming waterlogged. Any queries please contact Richard Hall on 0407 456 163.more

Introduction of Rule 20

Classic MX WA announces the introduction of “Rule 20” for the 2018 season. Rule 20 will see the club run a class for machines which are over 20 years old (on an annual rolling basis), with Pre ’98 being added to the class mix for 2018more

Darkan Event 15th October 2017

Classic MXWA is holding an event at Hillman Park Darkan on the 15th of October 2017. As this is the last calendar event of the 2017 season, we will be holding a free sausage sizzle on the Saturday night prior to the event on the Sunday. Come along and bring the family; this will be a non-competitive event with classes for juniors and vets on modern bikes.more

Classic MX WA at the Northam Show 8th September 2017

Looking for something different to do with your Mx’er or Enduro sled?

Racing under lights Northam Show Ground (as part of the Northam Show) Fri 8 September racing starts at 7pm, all MX classes junior and senior for a measly $30 entry for 5 rounds of racing action, and the fun of the Northam Fair to boot. You know you want to.more

Darkan Event 3rd September 2017

Classic MXWA is holding an event at Hillman Park Darkan the first Sunday of September 3rd. Being father’s day we would encourage all members to make the trip to Darkan and celebrate with the kids and the whole family. To help celebrate father’s day the Club is putting on a (free) sausage sizzle for dinner on the Saturday night before the event. Shane is again sourcing the famous chilli sausagesmore

August 13th Event Postponed to 20th August

The Classic MXWA committee regret to advise the event scheduled for this weekend - Sunday 13th August - has been postponed until the following Sunday the 20th August. Classic MXWA 2015 Annual General Meeting

Over the past 12 months, Classic MX WA has seen a change in direction with the addition of more varied events, all the while maintaining a focus on the classic era of motocross -1979 through to 1990 - as well as looking to the future with the introduction of the Pre ’95 class.
