AGM Tuesday 26th May 2020
The Annual General Meeting of Collingwood Basketball Association Inc will be held on Tuesday 26th May, 2020 at 7.00 pm via Zoom. Members who wish to attend the meeting should PRE-REGISTER (by 5pm 26th May if possible) and will be emailed the Zoom lnk for the meeting. Please read the AGM Registration Instructions attached below for further information about registering and about the conduct of the meeting.
Nominations for Committee positions closed on Tuesday 19 May. The following nominations were received:

As the number of nominations did not exceed the positions available, these nominees will be elected unopposed at the AGM.
All members are encouraged to join the meeting. Whilst there will not be voting required for Committee positions, a number of special resolutions to amend the Rules of Association are proposed. Details are in the attached agenda and explanatory notes.

Unless current restrictions are lifted beforehand, this 2020 AGM will be held virtually via Zoom.
All members are very welcome to attend and take part.
Nominations for the following positions are invited:

> Vice President
> Secretary
> Treasurer
> Registrar
> General Committee Member (six positions)
Nomination forms and the agenda are attached. Completed Nomination forms must be received by the Secretary by 7.00pm Tuesday 19th May, 2020. Post or email as per details on the attached nomination form.
All members are encouraged to consider nominating for a position.
In addition to the election of Committee members, special resolutions to amend the Rules of Association are proposed. Details are in the attached agenda and explanatory notes.
A member is:
- A parent or guardian listed on the registration form of a current junior domestic or junior representative player.
- A current Open Age player who is not also playing in a junior domestic or representative team.
- A person engaged in the activities of the Association such as a coach, team manager or current committee member who is not the parent of a junior player but has paid the membership-only fee of $1.
- A life member.
