MEN'S PREMIER LEAGUE SQUAD FINALISED FOR 2018

On behalf of the entire Men’s Premier League Coaching staff congratulations to every single player who took part in our pre-season training and selection process. After some 18 on-court sessions, (with plenty of 3 on 3’s & 5 on 5’s) and several strength & fitness sessions, the final squad has been chosen to challenge for the 2018 Premier League season.
It is fair to say the levels of athleticism, fitness and general basketball skills of our more Junior participants surprised the Coaches and it is a testament to our Junior Development programs at North Adelaide and every Junior Coach within the Club. The final selections were difficult to make, but were an indication of the effort put in by each and every player.
The squad sees several current Under 23’s and one Under 18 player make their debuts in the senior program, but now the real work begins as they strive to “suit” for a Premier League game and get themselves on court.
To the Boys that didn’t make it in the end, you did yourselves proud, challenged at every opportunity and proved yourself to be a player. In every case a little more experience and an improvement in strength & fitness is all that is required, and the opportunity will be there again in the not too distant future. You are still a valued member of our program and we look forward to your support at games.
No less than 15 of those named have played Junior basketball for North!!!!!
