2016 Winter Season Team Entries Now Open

The Interact Us Bendigo Basketball Competition will be opening their 2016 Winter Team Entries on Friday 26th February 2016. The 2016 Winter Team Entries will then close on Thursday the 31st of March 2016.

Team entries will be open to any new or pre-existing club/independent senior teams.
All new junior independent teams will now have to enter as a club team as per the BBA By-Laws. If a new independent team would like to join a team our current sports office staff will be more than happy to assist you in the right direction to a club.

We currently have a total of 63 divisions available for teams to enter. These divisions include both senior and junior teams. We have over 3,000 registered players and over 400 teams that currently participated in the Summer 2015/16 basketball season and we expect our entries to be around the same numbers.

The 2016 winter season will commence on Monday the 11th of April with grand finals commencing in early September.

For the up and coming 2016 winter season we will have a new BVC insurance available for any members that have their insurance due on the 31/03/2016. Members will now have the option to pay a total cost of $21.50 for the winter season if they are currently not covered. From September 30th this year all members will have the same insurance period (October-September). That way all members will be aligned in the same insurance period.

The Bendigo Stadium and Bendigo Basketball Association are looking forward to the up and coming winter season and wish all teams the best.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
