26.78 - NEW NATIONAL RECORD FOR SHAWN at Rio Olympics 2016

Team Palau started off our Swimming events here at the Olympics with a best time which in turn was a new National Record by 0.24. Shawn had a great swim, and showed great poise and sheer determination as he went up and dropped time, nevertheless moved up in the rankings here in Rio. We are all very proud of what he has done over the years, and today exemplified the hard work and dedication he has had into Palau Swimming.
Tomorrow, it's UB's turn as she swims the 50 Freestyle. Her time of a 29.64 has her swimming in Heat 3, Lane 3. Her race will be swimming at 1:05pm Brazil time (1:05am Palau time).
So keep those cheers coming from back home and around the world. As we always say, "Last One, FAST ONE!"
Congratulations Shawn, and go get 'em UB!
