Palau Volleyball Federation AVC Level 1 Coaching Course

The Palau Volleyball Federation in partnership with the Asian Volleyball Confederation hosted a national coach’s clinic on April 11th – 15th 2016 at the Palau High School Gym. The Asian Volleyball Confederation sent Mr.  Suntorn Phoseeta ,  to conduct the course and certify the participants. Mr. Phoseeta is a FIVB certified level 3 coach, a former member of the Thailand National Volleyball Team, coached the Vietnam National Volleyball Team and the Maldives National Team among other teams he had coached. This was the first time Palau held a coach’s clinic with a FIVB certified instructor. Participants of the course earned an AVC level 1 Coach’s certificate and are qualified to get level 2 AVC coaches certificate. Participants of the course were Mr. Kenny Reklai, Ms. Hila Asanuma, Ms. Holly Yamada, Mrs. Carol Tellei, Ms. Hermana Idip, Mr. Norman Daniel, Ms. Makka Oimei, Mr. Saki Naivana and Mr. Canetti Namu Marbou.  The Palau Volleyball Federation is working towards strong development of the sports in Palau through proper trainings and clinics with FIVB certified instructors. This will ensure the children of Palau will receive the proper training in learning how to play volleyball as well as develop the right skills to play the game.
