Flames Sign Taneisha Harrison for Womens SBL 2018
The Rockingham Flames WSBL side is pleased to announce their first restricted player signing for 2018, with Taneisha Harrison agreeing to terms late last week.
The 6’0 guard from the University of Pittsburgh, is currently playing in Romania’s top league, and is 2nd in the league in scoring at 21.1ppg, at an impressive 56% from inside the 3pt line, and over 42% from behind the line.
Flames Head Coach and Perth Lynx Assistant Coach Ryan Petrik couldn’t be happier with his clubs signing.
“We’ve been watching her from afar for a couple of years now, and now her numbers are just too hard to ignore now”.
“Every game you watch her play, opposition teams are on high alert for her at the offensive end, and are aware of where she is at all times. She’s a professional scorer, she’ll score a lot of points in this league for sure”
