School Holiday Basketball Camps Now Open!

North Canterbury Basketball Holiday Camps are around the corner and registrations are now open. We are offering 3 different camps to suit a variety of ages and skill levels.

Girls Got Game Camp;

Basketball New Zealand’ Girls Got Game program provides a fun and friendly basketball programme for primary and intermediate school age girls. Basketball is a fantastic sport for girls, helping to develop movement and thinking skills in a fun social team environment.

When; Tuesday 7th of July

Where: New Life School

Times; 9am - 12:00pm Yrs 3-6

            12:30pm - 3:30pm Yrs 7-9

We have been fortunate to obtain funding to run the Girls Got Game camp, thus we have been able to offer a special rate for our female participants and are only asking for a donation to attend the camp.

The girls will be coached by some of North Canterbury’s great female basketball players including Tall Fern, and professional player, Mary Goulding, Junior Tall Fern and USA College player Helen Mathews.

Come on down and bring one of your friends too!

Holiday Camp 1;

Holiday CAMP 2 is now open for boys and girls yr 3-9 and will have specific skills for all ages.

Holiday Camp 2;

Our second holiday camp is open for both boys and girls in yrs 7-9, and now yr 3-6 to learn more about the game in a fun but challenging environment that will help build their confidence and enjoyment of basketball, and help prepare them for their on-going club games and school competitions.

When; Thursday 9th of July

Where: New Life School

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
