Tall Ferns to play at Trust Arena

The SkySports Tall Ferns will be hosting the Pre Olympic qualifying tournament at Trust Arena in 14-17 November. The Tall Ferns will be playing against Powerhouse China, Korea and Philippines. Get your ticket and mates along and support the Tall Ferns in their journey to qualify for Tokyo Olympics in 2020.more

WWABi U17 Premier boys - National Champions 2019

Congratulations to the WWABi U17 Premier Boys who defeated Canterbury in the Finals at Events Finda Stadium at the BBNZ U17 Nationals. Led by their young leader Dontae Russo Nance, the boys were undefeated all week, especially after a tough game in the quarter finals and also beating Harbour in the Semi finals.more

Dontae selected to represent Asia Pacific in Orlando

After a great showing at the Jnr NBA Asia Pacific Camp in Indonesia, Dontae has been selected to present the Asia Pacific regional team at the Jnr NBA Global Championships in Orlando, Florida from 6-11 August.more

Trust Arena going GREEN

The Trust Arena has a new long term strategy and will be going GREEN as of 1st May 2019 with their Waste Minimisation programme. Just like schools, we are asking the patrons and members to take their rubbish with you when you leave the Arena. If you brought it with you, then you must take it back with you as well.more

To all boys aged 8, 9 years old this year and love playing Basketball.
Waitakere West Auckland Basketball are putting in a team for an u11 Development tournament starting in May next month.

Just to let you all know, we have had a change in court allocation for our WEDNESDAY AND MAINLY THE THURSDAY competition. We have also had a team withdraw for the u17 girls competition so please double check your game times. Please ensure you check the draws online as of Tuesday 22nd May as the times for your games or courts may have changed.

If you log into our website: www.wwabi.org.nz then click on LEAGUE FIXTURES/RESULTS tab, you will see a drop down box on the right hand side. Select the competition you require the fixture for and you will see the game time/court etc. If you need any help locating the draw, please do not hesitate to contact Nicky on (021) 657786 or admin@wwabi.org.nz.
