New AFL Victoria Record

When out at the VFL this weekend, be sure to grab your copy of the new and improved AFL Victoria Record.

One of the first things you will notice with the Record this year is the addition of more pages and a return to a combined VFL and TAC Cup Record. Last year AFL Victoria received various feedback about the Record, and in 2011 we hope to return the Record to a must read each and every round of the VFL and TAC Cup season with a massive 56 pages.

To kick off the season, this week’s Record previews the year in the VFL and TAC Cup for 2011. The Record will include:

  • After another long off season, we take a look at all the ins and outs for the VFL and TAC Cup sides.
  • We take a look at the three VFL teams competing in the Foxtel Cup (North Ballarat, Northern Bullants and Williamstown).
  • We feature a story on the growing rivalry between the Box Hill Hawks and Port Melbourne.
  • At the AFL Victoria Season Launch it was revealed the new naming rights sponsor of the VFL would be Peter Jackson Menswear Melbourne, and we look at their arrival to the AFL Victoria stable of sponsors, as well as Acacia Learning Solutions and the return of the TAC for their 20th year.
  • We also get the expert opinions of various media identities regarding their thoughts and predictions for season 2011 in the VFL – sure to be used as motivation or ammunition as the year progresses.
  • And for those trivia buffs out there, test your VFL knowledge with ‘Spider’s Trivia’
