Adrine Monagi heads to World Championships

Adrine Monagi heads to Doha today for the IAAF World Championships in Athletics where she will compete in the 100m hurdles event on October 5. Monagi, who has a personal best of 13.82 seconds in the 100m hurdles won the silver medal in this event at the recent Pacific Games in Apia, clocking 13.99 secs behind Australian Brianna  Beahan. Adrine had the opportunity for a pre departure race last weekend at the PNG Air Southern Region Championships at the Sir John Guise stadium where she clocked 14.58seconds.
