54th National Track & Field Championships Lae 17 – 19 April, 2015 Bulletin No. 2

Bulletin No. 2

Notice to all participating Athletes and Teams

It is now only two weeks to the national championships. By now you should all have the first draft of competition time table and the competition rules that the championships will be governed by. Please ensure coaches and team manager understand and observe the rules. Any questions can be raised at the Technical Meeting scheduled at 1:00 PM at the stadium on Friday 17 April.

Entries: Please be reminded that entries should be sent no later than 10 April to enable us to finalize a competition timetable and allow for meet organizers to have all information in place including accreditation and to see a smooth preparation and running of the championships.

Registration Fees: I’d like to clarify the team registration fees as first outlined in Bulletin 1: those associations who are affiliated to Athletics PNG, are required to pay their annual 2015 affiliation fee of K200, which would also cover as team participation fee to the Nationals. Other clubs or schools that only wish to take part in the championships will pay K100. The individual entry fee is K10 per event and K5 for every other event thereafter. The relay events do not attract any fees.

All fees may be deposited to the PNGAU account – ANZ Lae Account number 624 406 and copy of the deposit receipt be sent to Philip on above contact details. Entry fees are NON REFUNDABLE in the event that an athlete does not compete for whatever reason.

Accommodation: Those teams needing accommodation in Lae should start making own arrangements. If you require assistance, please let me know and I will forward any accommodation venues that may be suitable to you needs or budget.

Please feel free to contact me direct on 7234 0366 or prehder@global.net.pg if you have any questions or require further information.

I look forward to seeing you all in Lae

Philip Rehder

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
