Softball FNQ Transition

Cairns Softball have been working with Softball Queensland to realign out Constitution and By-laws with those of Softball Australia and Softball Queensland. Our Constitution was severely out of date and our bylaws encompassed many rules that should have been part of the local ground rules. The majority of members will be most interested in the ground rules are these stipulate the day to day running of our competitions. This information has not been easily available, or has contained omissions that the committee has had to make adhoc decisions on. It is hoped that this new set of rules will cover the issues that we have been faced with in recent times and also head off any potential new problems we may face. We encourage you to provide feedback on any of all of these documents.

As part of this realignment, Cairns Softball has taken the opportunity to rename the association to become Softball FNQ. These documents reflect this imminent change. A survey is being conducted to vote on one of two logo options - displayed below. The final copies of these documents, when passed at the upcoming Annual General Meeting, will contain the final decision on the logo.
