Tigers Roaring After Signing of Vigor

The Zambrero Willetton Tigers are thrilled to announce the signing of Australian professional and 206cm Centre Michael Vigor for the 2021 NBL1 West season.

Vigor whose basketball career to date includes 3 years as a development player with the Perth Wildcats, playing in the SEABL with the Bendigo Braves and time spent overseas in England where he played for the Plymouth Raiders and Bristol Flyers.

Vigor comes to the Tigers most recently from the Lakeside Lightning where he played during the 2020 West Coast Classic.

New Zambrero Willetton Tigers MNBL1 Head Coach Adam Nener had this to say upon securing Vigor’s signing for this upcoming season, “Michael Vigor is a huge signing for us, anytime you are able to have someone of his calibre on a roster, you take it every time.”

“He has played professionally overseas, won a SBL championship and played at a Commonwealth Games. We have had a few sessions now and just seeing how he conducts himself on and off the court, his preparation and leadership is second to none.” said Nener.

The Zambrero Willetton Tigers will kick start their NBL1 West season with a home game at Willetton Stadium against the Lakeside Lightning on Saturday 17th April.
